Full-Time Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Wanted
Ottawa Osteopathy & Sports Therapy is currently looking for a full-time Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our team. We currently have 5 full-time D.O.M.P.'s with established practices and a waitlist for new patients.
Based in central Ottawa, this clinic caters to the sporting community and the active population of the surrounding region.
This includes:
- 1.1 million residents
- A multitude of sports clubs and fitness facilities
- Recreation complexes for track and field, soccer, hockey, ultimate frisbee etc.
Working within a multidisciplinary treatment model, we encourage collateral learning from other practitioners and use a team approach to patient care. Our practice provides quality, personalized services in the areas of injury prevention, treatment and improved performance in sport. We receive regular referrals from an established network of healthcare practitioners.
We provide osteopathy, physiotherapy, athletic therapy, massage therapy, running assessments and kinesiology. Our clinic offers bright rooms with large windows, new adjustable tables, a rehab gym, an educational allowance, clinic in-service meetings and an established demand for osteopathy. We also have a full service reception to handle scheduling and provide administrative support.
Ottawa is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. Gatineau Park, the Greenbelt, Rideau Canal and the Ottawa River offer trail running, hiking, cross-country skiing, camping, paddling, skating, cycling, and more.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Athletic Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Experience in treating sports injuries
- A strong understanding of exercise to complement the benefits of osteopathy
- Bilingualism - English/French is also an asset but not required
